Meet your Upward Bound Tutors!📚

sharon and kalibre pictures_edited.jpg

🔹 Sharon – A retired teacher who never really left high school! She spends most of her days tutoring students for Upward Bound, bringing years of teaching and tutoring experience to the table. She’s mastered the most effective ways to tackle any subject and, with the patience of a saint, she’s the ideal tutor. Sharon supports UB students at Humboldt and Erie High Schools.

🔹 Kalibre – A new addition to the UB tutoring team, but definitely not new to tutoring! A 2024 Valedictorian from Iola High School (yeah, he’s that smart!), he’s currently taking pre-engineering courses at Allen Community College and plans to transfer to a university in 2025. Kalibre works with UB students at Chanute and Iola High Schools.

Need help with a tough subject? These two have your back! 💪🎓
